Meet Coach Fred

Fred Como a.k.a. Coach Fred is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. in Health, Policy and Administration and a minor in Exercise and Sport Science. He is a certified massage therapist, Wellness Mapping 360 Health Coach, a Lifestyle Educator in the FirstLine Therapy Program, and a certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, Weight Loss Specialist and Metabolic Resistance Trainer. Fred is also certified by the Club Corp. of America in the Total Back Care Program, and is a certified Facilitator for the Freedom From Smoking Program by the American Lung Association.

Fred is the owner of OneSource Wellness Coaching and has worn numerous hats in the health and wellness field. An active athlete all his life, he has enjoyed the one on one attention he has been able to deliver in training other athletes, weekend warriors, transformation clients as well as coaching clients in positive lifestyle changes. Fred also has experience in health club management, employee wellness programming and management, public speaking, writing numerous articles and authoring several health guides and a wellness book. Fred loves to challenge his clients to find their limits. His greatest passion is helping transform lives from one of disease and high risk to one of health and vitality. Early on, his enjoyment for physical challenges and activity led him to becoming a personal trainer and health and wellness coach. A lover of the outdoors, he tries to incorporate the benefits of nature into his coaching and writing. In his personal life, Fred enjoys his free time with wife Sandy, family and extended family, friends, kayaking, camping, hiking, mountain biking and woodworking, amongst other hobbies.

Fred specializes in weight loss and body transformation. His clientele are not only healthy people looking to improve their lives further, but also those who are diagnosed with high risk health conditions. While under his direction, many are not only able to reach their goals, but are able to reduce or eliminate the use of medications for conditions such as high cholesterol, diabetes or high blood pressure.
